Adventures in Preservation (AiP) is a non-profit organization focused on safeguarding heritage and fostering economic and cultural sustainability in countries around the world. We do this by offering volunteers the opportunity to travel abroad and participate in hands-on building conservation projects in a bid to connect people and preservation. Since being founded in 2001, we have had 36 successful projects, in 7 countries with almost 14,300 hours of hands on work across 360 volunteers. In September 2009 we changed our name to Adventures in Preservation (AiP) from Heritage Conservation Network.
