The Scottish Institute for Remanufacture (SIR) is funded by the Scottish Funding Council and Zero Waste Scotland. Hosted at the University of Strathclyde, SIR is a pan Scotland centre of excellence to increase innovation in remanufacturing. By stimulating and co-funding collaborative projects that address industry challenges it will enable companies to increase reuse, repair and remanufacture in their manufacturing operations.
