Stomping Ground Comedy Theater & Training Center is Dallas’ only nonprofit theatre dedicated to comedy. Started in early 2017, Stomping Ground is dedicated to connecting people through comedy and is committed to Outreach, Inclusion, and Collaboration. Lead by a staff of producers, performers, and instructors with over 100 years of combined experience performing and teaching comedy, they hope to collaborate with the existing Dallas comedy community and community of artists to expand the comedic arts. Stomping Ground offers corporate training, children's & teen classes, adult comedy classes, and shows. They also offer their innovative Improv for Life program, which aims to enrich the lives of those in the community with unique needs. They currently offer improv classes to those in the community with autism, anxiety, brain injury, Alzheimer's and dementia, and to those who are caregivers of those with Alzheimer's and dementia.
