This unconventional year showed me that traditional methods we have grown accustomed to do not fulfill our internal needs. Humans must build self-respect, gratitude, and internal growth for fulfilling lives by starting with who we are on in the inside. As a result, I created Unconventional HR to grow the philosophy of servant leadership for a brighter future. As a second generation Indo-Canadian woman, I inspire women of colour to breakthrough negative cultural cycles and to become unapologetically themselves. I have overcome cultural barriers that have limited my growth and sabotaged my happiness. I inspire women of colour to conquer their limiting beliefs and imposter syndrome and excel as courageous thought leaders.
