The Study Group on India and Southeast Asia of Rosario (GEIRSA) is part of the South-South Relations and Cooperation Program (PRECSUR) based in the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations of the National University of Rosario (UNR). GEIRSA is intended as a multidisciplinary space that addresses national and regional processes in order to understand the complex reality of South Asia. To this end, its objectives are: -Contribute to the study, teaching and dissemination of the various aspects of the historical, political, social, economic, military, and cultural reality of India and Southeast Asia. -Promote the training of specialized human resources. -Strengthen academic cooperation, mainly interuniversity, covering areas of knowledge such as history, sociology, politics, law and economics. -Facilitate commercial, scientific, technological and political cooperation, through the promotion of academic and cultural activities in a South-South framework.
