The APG Canada is an independent, not-for-profit organization led and supported by Canada’s top planning practitioners. We are dedicated to elevating the calibre of Canadian planning across the country as well as increasing its influence both in Canada and abroad. Run by planners, for planners, we aim to create a sense of community across agencies and sectors. Our members look to contribute to our community by sharing their knowledge, experience, and energy. Connected by intellectual curiosity and a passion for our work, we are a resource, meeting place and guiding light to the Canadian planning community. Our main activities are events, training and membership. Since it was founded in Toronto in 2013, the APG has steadily extended its reach beyond the borders of the GTA, and now is proud to have board members from Montreal and Vancouver.
