Located at 1310 19th Street in Belleville, the Blair Center for the Arts (BCA, the Blair) is a 501c3 nonprofit arts organization in Republic County, Kansas. Our mission is to provide quality arts and entertainment opportunities to the area to counter the artistic and cultural void in rural locations. At our core, we work to improve the mental health and quality of life for everyone in the community by programming live arts and movie entertainment and maintaining a venue that can host local school, business, and community event needs. Blair Center for the Arts Programming As an emerging arts organization, the Blair Center for the Arts works hard to foster and strengthen community involvement and collaboration opportunities. We aim to cultivate an open atmosphere for everyone in the community. Some of the groups that have volunteered or hosted programs in conjunction with the Blair include FFA, 4-H, Girl Scouts, and Scouts, BSA. The Blair is also thrilled to host Republic County school groups from USD 109 and USD 426 throughout the year. Located in a socioeconomically vulnerable area, The Blair works to provide high-quality programming all year round to the community we serve; services that are ardently needed as our programming benefits people who otherwise would not have access to these events. Blair Center for the Arts Daily Sponsor: It currently costs $411.00/day to run the Blair. If we had 365 sponsors pledging $500.00 each, it would go a long way toward covering all our operating costs. While some expenses are not exactly exciting or fun, they are necessary for our programming to happen.
