Nature’s Edge Therapy Center is a nonprofit organization located in Rice Lake, WI. At Nature’s Edge, we engage nature's calming beauty and the human-animal bond to take speech, occupational and physical therapies to a new level. Nestled on a beautiful 65-acre ranch in the heart of northwest Wisconsin, our program combines traditional treatment methods with innovative rehabilitative techniques such as hippotherapy (equine/horse-assisted therapy), horticulture therapy and animal-assisted therapy, all provided by licensed therapists with practical, comprehensive goals in mind. We specialize in children and young adults with autism, brain injury and cerebral palsy; however, we treat a wide range of disorders and patients of all ages. We also have a unique, one of a kind in the country, intensive therapy program for autism, where families live and work together at our ranch for up to one week to achieve real breakthroughs in communication, independence and life skills. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of intensive rehabilitation by qualified and licensed staff to our clients and their families in a safe, natural and motivational setting, promoting the human-animal bond. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate our clients’ independence and integration into family, school, and society.
