In 2001, we started out as Industrial Control Design, with the aim to change the way software design control tools may assist engineers world-wide building new control platforms. More than a decade later, ICD Group, through our parent company ICD Industries cover these combined efforts in making our control design platform (CDP) the #1 choice within maritime, subsea, oil & gas companies world wide. In 2015 we sold the majority of ICD Software with subsidiaries to VARD, a Fincantieri company.
