National Community Investment Fund (NCIF) is a nonprofit investment fund created to catalyze economic development in low-income and underserved communities across the US by investing in mission-oriented financial institutions. NCIF invests capital in banks and other institutions that improve access to financial services for local individuals, small businesses, and minorities. In addition, NCIF supports the industry by supplying research and impact metrics for banks and their investors, sharing knowledge and best practices, and encouraging collaboration through the NCIF Network.
