Finnish Fur Breeders' Association - FIFUR is the parent company of the Finnish fur branch and also the organisation for the representation of interests and education. FIFUR, its local associations and fur breeders own the majority of the Finnish auction and marketing company Saga Furs Plc. The association was founded in 1928 by fur producers and today has 581 member farms/companies in 600 locations. In the 2010s, fur farming has contributed an average of 400-500 million euros per annum in export revenues to Finland.
