Mid-Pacific
www.midpac.eduMid-Pacific was established through the 1908 merger of Kawaiaha'o Seminary for Girls, founded in 1864, and Mills Institute for Boys, founded in 1892. For well over a century, Mid-Pacific Institute has been equipping its graduates with the knowledge, skills and character necessary to achieve success not just in college, but in life itself. Mid-Pacific, one of Hawaii’s most dynamic and forward-thinking educational institutions, continues to set the bar as a rigorous, coeducational, college preparatory day school for preschool, kindergarten and grades 1-12. Consistently, Mid-Pacific is recognized as an innovator of educational, technological and artistic programs that develop enlightened learners and leaders. Mid-Pacific Institute was the first school in Hawaii to offer a pre-professional arts training program as a complement to its college-preparatory curriculum, as well as the first secondary school in the state to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Mid-Pacific is a caring learning environment where students are challenged to solve real-world problems and are inspired to be their best selves in a diverse community of creative and intellectually curious individuals. Under the guidance of outstanding faculty and academic programs, they develop a love of learning for life, graduating as alumni who excel as change makers. Fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
