The ATU Sligo Innovation Centre is a hub for regional development in the North West. We use the expertise inATU Sligo to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that in turn is easily accessible. We provide the facilities and a stimulating supportive environment to nurture entrepreneurs. We have established ourselves as a leader in regional development for local business and industry. ATU Sligo were among one of the first in the Technological University sector to set up an Innovation Centre, providing direct support for local business thus stimulating and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship. In summary, the technology exists to: • Help and support entrepreneurs • Nurture new start-ups and fledgling enterprises • Assist established businesses develop and expand The space providedin the centre is primarily to facilitate business through the start-up stage or the expansion of an existing business into the region. The centre has the flexibility to facilitate businesses as they grow and develop. The Innovation Centre has a wealth of experience, knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm to ensure that businesses are successful and generate jobs and long term sustainability. To ensure success the Innovation Centre deliver in partnership with other private and public organisations initiatives to help grow businesses who can be both sustainable and internationally trading.
