Mabna started its activities on computer software, hardware, animation, and special effects in 2005. By 2012, Mabna institute, now named as “PooyaAfarin-e- Mabna”, put its main focus on Value-Added Services (VAS) in the telecommunications community. The institute has embarked on and implemented a number of projects for the Iranian government organizations such as the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and the State Welfare Organization. It is currently considered as one of the biggest sponsors of the Iranian Premier League (IPL) By 2014 mabna decided to invest on building it's own startups.
