Impact 2019 Eti-Osa constituency, the prize jewel of Lagos, is ranked as one of the most influential constituencies in the country. With an ever-burgeoning population, the region boasts of an eclectic mix of assorted minds: from urban professionals to industrious entrepreneurs, from accomplished ‘A’ list celebrities and entertainers, to a fast-rising base of creative youth, from a thriving start-up ecosystem to hard working petty traders, from a large base of immigrant population of about 70% to an ever-growing international community with expatriates in teeming numbers Despite the expensive cluster of businesses and industries, Eti-Osa constituency is still far from becoming a desirable habitat for Nigerians. The standard of living is unpleasant, extremely expensive and burdensome for the constituents, particularly the industrious middle-class. It is noteworthy to mention that Eti-Osa lacks basic infrastructure such as a government-owned digital library and clean running water. This is deplorable. It is our firm belief, that Eti-Osa constituency, if structured properly, can be made a model for driving strategic policy formulation which cuts across business, labour laws, creative and cultural industries, technology-driven education and job creation, environmental policies, mental health etc. The vision behind this dream can be expanded, with its influence spread across Nigeria. We came to a conclusion that this can only be achieved through a collaboration of like minds. Those who still believe that our best years are ahead of us and not behind. The passionate individuals who believe that the underwhelming theme behind the Nigerian narrative can be changed. Those who feel short-changed by the pre-existing socio-political conditions and are willing to change the status quo.
