The Rotary Club of Felixstowe is part of Rotary International which is one of the world’s largest humanitarian service organisations, with 1.2 million members in 35,000 clubs in over 200 countries. Within our local community, our club will be best known for its annual fundraising events (Fun Run, Rudolf and Santa, G&S Concert, and Boxing Dinner) which support individuals and organisations in the Felixstowe area along with international causes. Thanks to all who support these events and particularly to our sponsors. But it’s not just about fundraising, we are also initiators and facilitators of initiatives within our community. For example, our Youth Development Project, focussing on giving our young people the confidence to succeed, has run a football tournament hosted by ITFC, a climbing challenge with Ipswich “Clip ‘n Climb”, and a “Kids Kitchen” in association with Felixstowe Academy and the Yeo Group. We are a lively active lunchtime club known for our hospitality, fun and fellowship, and always welcome new members.
