Camosun International (CI) is the international education division of Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Our staff of 20+ education professionals recruit, advise, and support international students from more than 70 countries. The division also facilitates international contract training, customized programs, and international study opportunities for Camosun students and faculty. For the current 1,400 international students at Camosun, CI provides: Educational support Our International Advisors provide information and advice about Camosun programs. Cultural support Camosun has counsellors who are trained in issues specific to international students. We also have a thriving student support program, Peer Connections, to help new students adjust to living in Canada and attending college. Housing support Our Housing Coordinator provides support to students in our Homestay program, which matches international students with Canadian host families. CI also provides other services to the Camosun community and beyond: • Study Abroad - we coordinate opportunities for exchange students from partner institutions and make it possible for Camosun students to study overseas while earning college credits. • International Projects and Consulting - we offer consulting and project management expertise in educational design, curriculum development, management and community development. • Contract Training - we develop programs in a broad range of areas to meet the specific language, cultural, and skill needs of youth or adult students in small or large groups.
