Owned and operated by Chris Davis, a burgeoning leather craftsman, Davis Leatherworks is dedicated to creating and providing quality good to consumers at affordable prices. Davis Leatherworks is committed to the idea that "the customer is always right". Chris' goal as a leather crafter is to provide a product that the end consumer will be very happy to own, and that will last for years to come. Davis Leatherworks is also very quality-oriented in regard to the material used in production. If at all possible, Chris tries to ensure that every bit of leather purchased and used in his products comes from tanneries in the United States. Purchasing leather from prestigious tanneries such as Horween of Chicago and Wickett & Craig of Pennsylvania, Davis Leatherworks strives to achieve a certain standard of quality, while continuing to promote local economy. Each piece from Davis Leatherworks is hand-cut and hand-stitched with waxed linen thread or artificial sinew. This results in a product that is unique and personal, as well as long-lasting and sturdy.
