We have been providing maritime training for the professional merchant mariner since 1998. Bluewater Maritime School became a nonprofit organization in 2001 with a mission to provide training to economically disadvantaged and at-risk youth. By choosing Bluewater for your training you are also helping to provide training to those in need of assistance, while also saving yourself since we offer the lowest prices in Jacksonville for our courses. From entry level deckhands to 200 Ton Masters licenses we provide professional and caring training for our students. Our courses, instructors and facilities are Coast Guard approved and overseen. Courses include STCW classes and captain's licensing up to 200 Ton Masters.We now have two classroom locations to better serve the needs of our community. The Main location and offices are located at 6812 N. Main St. and we now offer some classes at our new Ortega location near NAS/Jax. We are proud to assist veterans by accepting VA benefits. We also accept Vocational Rehabilitation students.
