Sachsen Wasser GmbH (SaWa) is a specialised consulting company in the field of water supply and sanitation with a particular focus on water utility advisory and operations and maintenance (O&M). The company is based in Leipzig, Germany and operates worldwide. SaWa has been founded in the year 2000 as a subsidiary of the Municipal Leipzig Water and Wastewater Company, one of the largest water and wastewater utilities in Germany, and was transformed into an independent consulting and operating company in 2015 by Management-Buy -Out. Our background lies in water utility management and operations, and the first-hand experience in transformation and change management processes that were steered at the Leipzig water utility. We are a partner especially to public and municipal utilities and institutions assuming responsibility for their water and wastewater management.
