Who We Are Apportis provides innovative solutions to assist school districts, universities, agencies, and non-profits that support a population. Our software removes barriers to help, connecting counselors, case managers, caregivers, and clinicians to those in need and it provides that community with resources to thrive. Originally designed for our winning entry in the Ohio Opioid Technology Challenge under Governor Kasich, it allows those dealing with substance use disorder to connect to a clinician 24/7 even without Wi-Fi connectivity. It has evolved to help whole communities, school districts, universities, agencies, and non-profits. This powerful and unique solution is versatile, with this unique ability to connect in the most challenging or rural environments, we can assist under served, at-risk populations including youth who are experiencing homelessness, pregnancy, sexual violence, are LGBTQ, have mental or developmental disabilities, youth who are struggling with addiction, are transitioning out of foster care, or have had issues with the juvenile justice system. Our University solution connects the students to counselors and mentors, it also provides 24/7 access to resources to help them deal with the stresses of college and the pandemic. All staff and faculty have access to the platform as well and even more exciting is that the families of students have access to not only deal with their mental wellbeing, bolstering support for their sons and daughters attending that University, also creating deep brand loyalty and allegiance to school.
