Germany is the world's second largest shipping market. In January 2014, GAC Marine Logistics GmbH was set up in Hamburg – the country’s busiest port – to provide that industry with specialised door-to-deck ship spares delivery solutions, as well as other shipping and logistics services. The German base is the latest addition to the growing GAC Marine Logistics (GML) network, which also has offices in Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Piraeus, Rotterdam, Aberdeen, Felixstowe and Sao Paulo coordinating sourcing and delivery operations of vessel spares and parts to more than 1,000 locations worldwide.
