The "Associação Bauruense de Desportes Aquáticos - ABDA" is a non-profit, philanthropic, welfare, sporting and educational organization, with no political or political nature. It was founded in the city of Bauru (SP) in January 2011, with the objective of managing the “Projeto Futuro”, conceived in late 2010 by its current sponsor. Its main scope is the promotion of citizenship through sports practices combined with education, offering low-income children, adolescents and young people the opportunity to change the direction of their lives. The main objective of “Projeto Futuro”, since its inception, resides in the social inclusion of its beneficiaries, forming not only high-level athletes and performance in the modalities of swimming, water polo, athletics and, recently, a philharmonic orchestra and a choir, as well as human beings of integrity and with the same social spirit that welcomed them.
