Wimmigrants of Australia is a unique organisation specialising in career and leadership coaching and mentoring of women that immigrated to Australia. Our vision is to help them integrate into Australian society and achieve their full potential in all areas of their lives and become leaders in their workplaces and communities. Our program is based on proven coaching and mentoring framework as well as personal experience and wisdom of the Founder, Alma Besserdin who understands the complexities of establishing the life and career in a new country. Her unique experience of entrepreneur, business professional and migrant means she has lived the, often daunting, experience of moving countries and starting again. Alma enables her clients’ empowerment during what can be a vulnerable and uncertain transition to the next career challenge. We help women navigate through these challenges both personally and professionally and guide them to achieve their desired career goals. In addition we help them understand cultural nuances in business which is essential to carving out a meaningful career in a new country or the workplace. We assist women in interpreting the idiosyncrasies of the Australian business landscape and shows them how their skills and experience can be translated and utilised within an Australian business context. Working with organisations, we offer individual and group Leadership Development and Mentoring for Women, Diversity and Inclusion Programs as well as comprehensive transition programs to help Women who find themselves back in the job market as result of organisational changes or other circumstances.
