Positioning Underprivileged Children for Lifelong Academic Success Since 1990 Our mission is to provide at-risk and disadvantaged Metro-Vancouver students with a robust academic foundation for life-long educational success through private tutoring sessions from Certified Teachers to overcome their educational struggles and meet their academic goals. We believe that all students are entitled to equal learning opportunities regardless of their financial or social circumstances and deserve access to the resources needed to achieve their goals. No student should fall behind. We envision a future where all students are given the opportunity to enroll in tutoring assistance programs in subjects they may be struggling with, without concerns of their financial limitations. The Tutoring-Aid Society is well positioned to lead this assurance with the support of its sister organization Teacher's Tutoring Services (TTS) and strong community backing. There is also an ever-growing demand for students who require academic support and an overflow of qualified teachers looking for further opportunities to put their skills to work. For over 25 years, Tutoring-Aid Society has been supporting youth in the Vancouver area. In 2015, we’re looking to move the organization in a big way by exploiting technological advances and having access to greater resources to expand the scope of the organization for at risk-youth who need extra support to further their academic dreams.
