Voices For Children Foundation, through the Guardian ad Litem Program, ensures that every abandoned, abused or neglected child in foster care in Miami-Dade County has a voice. Mission The mission of Voices For Children Foundation is to raise funds to ensure that every abused and neglected child in Miami-Dade County has a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and that financial assistance and other resources are available for their accompanying health, educational, and social needs. In the life of every child, there should be at least one adult that stands as his or her hero. Usually, that hero is Mom or Dad. Unfortunately, there are over 3,000 children in Miami-Dade’s Foster Care System who have no heroes in their lives, and whose voices go unheard every day. Voices For Children’s support enables the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Program to recruit, train, and support volunteers. Everybody can Be A Voice by making a financial contribution, volunteering their time or becoming a Guardian ad Litem.
