Amelia Air is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing pets by plane. By flying at-risk shelter pets off death row to rescues with the resources to find them the perfect homes, our mission is to reduce euthanasia rates around the country. We leverage the passion of the aviation community to create the missing link between rural areas overwhelmed with animals, and the more urban areas with more adopters. Amelia Air is a project of Players Philanthropy Fund (Federal Tax ID: 27-6601178), a Maryland charitable trust with federal tax-exempt status as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
