WFII (World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries) is recognized at the global level as the single voice of the insurance intermediary (brokers, agents etc.) sector. Many international institutions and influential bodies consider WFII as the expert in intermediaries’ issues in International Public Affairs. These standard-setting international organizations consult WFII on a regular basis during hearings and the drafting process of high level principles, guidelines and recommendations on financial consumer protection. WFII enables insurance intermediaries to speak with one voice to international institutions and regulators that affect their business throughout the world. It enables the exchange of information on global issues and goals that all national associations of insurance intermediaries have in common. WFII provides global leadership, develops solutions and co-ordinates actions to promote the insurance intermediary industry internationally.
