Established in 2004 and borne as an initiative of the Tawazun Economic Council (Tawazun), the Ministry of Defense, and the UAE Armed Forces, Emirates Defense Companies Council (EDCC) seeks to open new horizons for economic development by contributing to the developing capabilities of the manufacturing sector and creating a more attractive environment for investors in the UAE. As a visionary company mandated to be the primary communication platform between defense and security entities, both locally and internationally, the Council has placed great importance on empowering and supporting a suitable environment within the sector. Placing transparency, communication and mutual support at the forefront of its endeavors, EDCC has enabled dialogue amongst notable industry players, stemming from its commitment to support the needs of its members.
