Prayas Rural Development Foundation is an organization of young and committed individuals from diversified social and economic background. They are unified by a common goal of improving the future of children and youth of India. The PRDF is working towards developing a support system for the students and youth where they can get required support from our team of volunteers who will support them in studies, provide career guidance/counseling, educate about the different skill development programs being run by the governments, private sectors and institutions. PRAYAS envisions higher learning levels for all students through an outcome-oriented system that sets measurable learning goals. Our strategy is to demonstrate that setting these goals and designing teaching and delivery methods to achieve these goals can directly enhance the learning outcomes of children. PRAYAS hopes to introduce its innovative teaching methods, directly reach a greater number of children, and continue campaigning for institutional change across the nation. The next decade will be crucial for India and resources will have to be used judiciously. If we strengthen our education system in rural areas and ensure adequate literacy and numeracy skills, India and its children will come to reap the benefits. Our mission is: 1. To give students advice and guidance on the most relevant information for their career prospects. 2. We will also provide face to face support and suggestion to rural students through our volunteers and paid staffs with collaboration of School/Colleges. 3. We will touch with rural student through e-communication and telecommunication and regularly will update about educational/admission/scholarship and other required information. 4. We are developing a centralized helpline (Call Center) center in Lucknow, where any student can call and get required information in local language related to educational field.
