The CityU Research and Investment Club (CURIC) is a student-run association. The main goal of the CURIC is to expose its members to the real stakes of investment through practice whilst developing a network of dedicated and passionate students. The organisation allows for a significant level of networking and specialisation for students interested in pursuing a career in investment banking and other finance-related positions. Through doing so students develop analytical skills and are able to discuss investment proposals within an informal environment. Companies likewise have the opportunity to participate in the meetings of the Investment Club. Membership is highly selective. We hold recruitment sessions over the year where we try to select the most bright and motivated people in the university.
