Started by a small group of enthusiastic teachers and students from the city, The Economics Club Mumbai, a non-profit, is a forum for academicians, students, economists and economics enthusiasts to interact on current economic issues, work towards improving teaching and learning of economics and to guide students towards the best educational and career opportunities. The Economics Club Mumbai has been inspiring and nurturing young minds who are interested in economics and other social sciences through various initiatives including introducing economics festivals in the city and organising seminars, discussions, career and educational guidance sessions and workshops, international study tours and lectures. The Club has also organised teacher training workshops and industry-academia interaction seminars.
