KU Leuven Bruges Campus is located in a future-oriented and bustling city that breathes history at the same time. At the brand-new campus near the railway station of Bruges you experience immediately a relaxed and warm-hearted atmosphere. Even more the campus is known for his personal teaching philosophy: courses are given in rather small groups and the teachers make it a point to work and live among their students. Every student can count on personal advice, guidance, remediation and reorientation. Bruges Campus houses two faculties including the Faculty of Engineering Technology and the Faculty of Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences. Engineering students are able to obtain their bachelor’s and master’s degree at campus Bruges whereas students of Rehabilitation Sciences continue their studies in Leuven after they have taken their first two years of the bachelor’s degree in Bruges. As in Kulak all programmes are taught in Dutch. KU Leuven Bruges Campus focuses on innovative and creative education on the one hand and on qualitative research on the other. When it comes to research, more often than not, collaboration is the key. Cooperation within a research group but frequently also collaboration with other research disciplines or even non-academic partners.
