San José Clean Energy, or SJCE, is San José’s new electricity generation supplier since February 2019, providing residents and businesses cleaner energy at competitive rates. Operated by the City of San José’s Community Energy Department, we’re dedicated to creating a healthier planet for our community and future generations. Our department is led by staff with decades of experience in the energy industry and municipal utilities. SJCE plays a crucial role in Climate Smart San José, the city’s climate action plan.
