As the busiest marine rescue group in Australia, FSR operates 24 hours a day every day of the year. Every year the group receives over 30,000 marine radio calls and responds to over 700 incidents on the water. Using a fleet of four dedicated rescue vessels and two jet skis, they cover the Perth metro coastline, Swan River, Canning River, Rottnest Island and beyond. FSR’s promise is to attend to any boater or water-user in distress who needs assistance. This responsibility is taken seriously and the group trains hard to maintain the highest standards of skills and professionalism.
