The Pet Industry Federation (PIF) is the national trade association for pet businesses. Our LinkedIn Company Page is where we will post information and news about PIF and the wider pet industry. We have been the voice of the UK pet industry for the last 70 years and our members include pet groomers, dog walkers, kennel and cattery businesses, home boarders, pet sitters, pet retailers, manufacturers and suppliers. PIF offers leading services to help pet businesses run their company more efficiently. In addition, we represent our members' interests at the heart of government, lobbying on issues affecting the pet industry and we are committed to raising standards of good practice, providing reassurance to customers that their pet's welfare is at the heart of everything our members do. Upon joining, PIF members sign up to a charter which sets out what PIF expects of them, and we have developed a range codes that explain what members of the public can expect from a PIF member. PIF business benefits include a legal helpline, animal welfare insurance, health and safety advice, card processing solutions, PIF Telecom, business insurance and energy. We also have a primary authority scheme which members who are subject to local authority licensing are part of and which provides peace of mind and consistency over local authority licensing inspections.
