BitVR is a peer-to-peer VR content platform. The platform brings together VR consumers and VR content creators in a decentralized ecosystem. Content will be served through a decentralized infrastructure. A token-based economy can be used to implement different monetization models. To this end, a fungible utility token can be employed in various ways such as paying for VR content, or for rewarding users who watched certain content. In addition, a non-fungible token is used to represent content that can be tracked on the blockchain.
