We are a non-profit organisation that represents the interests of pig farmers in Spain. Our goals are: - The study and proposal of solutions regarding the pig production problems and, more specifically, the suggestion of measures and the collaboration with the administrations for an efficient development and organisation in this sector. - To collaborate with the administrations in the field of animal health in pig production and the defence of health conditions, welfare, sustainability and the environment, both in the production sector as in those activities with an epizootic incidence on the sector. - To advise our partners regularly regarding the regulations (EU, Spain and Autonomous Communities) in force and how to link them to the adjustment and organization of the sector. - To promote training programs for farmers technicians, veterinarians, managers, foremen and farm workers to qualify the professionals in this sector regarding the technological and market development. - To inform its associates of the activities that the organisation carries out, providing information on agriculture and livestock, and share notices, documents, reports, studies, EU and Spanish legislation, etc.
