Vocareum has built a cloud platform for programming classes. The first generation infrastructure enabled course content to be deployed on the cloud. We believe that by building a flexible infrastructure we can move the rest of the educational aspects like assignments, exams, quizzes, etc, to the cloud. The main components of our platform are - Cloud IDE, - Assignment Management - Grading Automation, - Plagiarism Detection, - Learning Analytics, and - Exams-as-a-Service We first deployed our product in university pilots in fall of 2015 and since then we have been used by schools like UCSD, USC, UIUC and Penn State. Apart from Computer Science, programming is being used in a lots of other majors like Engineering, Computational Biology and Business.
