www.samcleanswater.orgThe Sewer Authority Mid-Coastside, commonly referred to as SAM, is a joint powers authority (JPA) that provides wastewater treatment to the Mid-Coastside. SAM’s service area is the combined service areas of the three member agencies: City of Half Moon Bay; Granada Community Services District and the Montara Water & Sanitary District. SAM owns and operates three pumps stations, 5.7 miles of pressurized force main, 1.8 miles of gravity sewer pipe, and a treatment plant with a capacity of 4.0 million gallons per day (mgd) of average dry weather flow (ADWF).
