The Alaska Avalanche Information Center is a network of avalanche forecast centers in Alaska providing information, forecasting and education services for safe mountain travel. We are dedicated to networking with snow safety professionals and providing personal growth and development opportunities as well as critical information and educational opportunities for the general public. We are a not-for-profit organization founded in 2008 by a group of concerned citizens and professional snow safety forecasters.
