Established in 1981, The Cleta Harder Developmental School (CHDS) is a certified Non-Public School (NPS) dedicated to providing an alternative academic program for children and young adults unable to succeed or reach their maximum academic and social potential in a public school setting. In a smaller and more intimate setting, the program provides academic and related services to school aged individuals with moderate-to-severe multiple disabilities including Autism, Down Syndrome and Orthopedic Impairments, all via a “highly qualified” staff.
