Rathinavel Subramaniam Educational Trust (RVSET) was established in 1983 as a public charitable Trust, in fond memory of Master Rathnavel Subramaniam the elder son of the chairman Lion. Vijayashree Dr. K. V. Kupusamy and Smt. K. Padmavathy, with objectives to create facilities for education, health care and upliftment of the poor and the downtrodden especially of rural regions. The Trust runs a Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Arts and Science College, Management Studies and Research Institute, Para medical institute comprising of Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy & Ayurveda College at Sulur campus, a suburb of Coimbatore. There is an archipelago of educational institutions comprising of a Engineering College, Polytechnic College, Institute of Management Studies, Master of Computer Application, School of Architecture, Dental College and Hospital, Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Siddha Medical College and Hospital, Nursing College, Pharmacy College, Allied Health Sciences, Teacher Training Institute and College of Education at Kannampalayam campus. The Trust also runs Engineering College, Polytechnic, Management Institute, Industrial Training Institute and College of Education at Dindugal and Horticulture college at Sempatti. The Trust also runs Agriculture College at Tanjore. The Trust has farms across Tamil Nadu - Tathankulam, Sempatti, Tanjore, Tenkasi, Dindigul and Coimbatore Bhakthavatsalam Memorial Trust runs Bhakthavatsalam Vidyastram central board school and a Women's College at Korattur, Chennai.
