Who is USE? Enterprise is made up of people with ideas. That’s academics, entrepreneurs, departmental staff, societies, students, graduates, interns, businesses, employers, the careers service, men, women, boys and girls. Anyone can help to make up Enterprise. All you need is motivation and we’ll help you with the rest. What does USE do? University of Sheffield Enterprise (USE) seeks to stimulate new ideas and supports students and graduates of the University to make their entrepreneurial ideas happen, through a programme of activities including: business coaching, advice, seed funding and incubation space. When do we do it? The Enterprise Zone is open 9-5, Monday to Friday. You don’t need to book an appointment to come in and speak to somebody. If you prefer, you can call us during office hours and speak to somebody over the phone. Where are we? You can’t miss us now that the building’s bright orange. Even if you’re not planning on setting up your own business, getting involved in enterprising activities is a great way to boost your CV, gain new skills and meet new people.
