SFH Financial Consulting was born from the idea that education is the key component when faced with tough personal financial decisions. Saul Hasranah, founder and lead consultant, took interest in the Financial Services industry in 2007 just before the stock market crash in 2008. These were very testing times for both younger and older investors and uncertainty loomed throughout the globe. To make a long story short, the cause of the crash, as depicted in the Hollywood film The Big Short, was a result of the production, distribution and sale of a very complex financial instrument that was then pushed on investors seeking above average returns. The lack of understanding of these products (CMOs) coupled with the sheer complexity of their make up along with the persistence of greedy mortgage companies and financial firms created the perfect storm. The question remains; why wasn't there full disclosure to investors about these products and if they were too difficult to explain why were they even sold? The bigger picture here is the constant inadequacy of proper explaining, coaching and overall awareness when it comes to ANY type of investment being used to achieve the savings goals of Millennials, Gen-Xers and Boomers alike. This is why SFH Financial Consulting was created. Our mission is to educate, empower and elevate individuals, groups and families with the right unbiased information through coaching sessions. Our sessions are always relevant and customized to the audience's need. I take the seemingly complex and make it very simple while having some fun doing it!
