Be Well Texas at UT Health San Antonio expands access to compassionate, evidence-based treatment and care for substance use disorder throughout Texas. To improve the quality of life of Texans adversely impacted by opioid use disorder, we work with health care providers from across the state to ensure access to high-quality, evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder: medications such as buprenorphine and extended-release naltrexone. We are proud to be leading a movement to change how opioid use disorder is treated in Texas because we believe all people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect as they navigate their treatment options.
