The Saudi Arabian Student Organization (SASO)at Northeastern University was created to raise awareness of Saudi Arabian culture, values and customs in the Northeastern community, interact with other student cultures and societies, help newcomers from Saudi Arabia adapt to the new environment, and facilitate communication between the representatives of the Kingdom in the Cultural Mission of Saudi Arabia in Washington D.C. and the Saudi students at Northeastern. SASO holds social activities, lectures, and meetings to fulfill its objectives.
