Established in 1950 in Jingzhou, Hubei province, Power 28 was a famous national brand back in the 1990s. It took the lead in launching "1:4" concentrated non-foam washing powder in 1982, which opened a new era in China's washing industry and was highly recognized by Chinese households. At present, Power 28 has completed the pre-A round funding with the joint investment of Sequoia Capital and a number of venture capital firms. With 180 million RMB registered capital, its market valuation has exceeded 10 billion. In the past year, its offline business had covered 28 provinces, and ranked 5th in cleaning category on Taobao, Tmall, Jingdong, Suning and other e-commerce platforms. In 2020.11.11, total online sales had increased by more than 100 times. The sales volume had exceeded 800 million in 2020. In terms of product R&D, it has cooperated with Evonik Industries, AkzoNobel, Novozymes, Firmenich, BASF and TAKASAGO to develop a number of national patent formula. Headquartered in Jingzhou, Hubei, it plans to build its own production plant this year. The plant is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2022. In the meantime, it set up an office in Shanghai Hongqiao business district and put it in to use since October, 2020. In the future, Shanghai office will be the management, marketing and R&D center and Jingzhou plant will be the production center. Power 28 will make efforts both online and offline, committed to bringing the brand back to the leading position in the washing industry.
