Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) represents and advances the interests of manufacturers and suppliers of heavy vehicles and their components, equipment and technology. Formerly known as the Commercial Vehicle Industry Association of Queensland, HVIA was formed on the 22nd October 2015 to address the need for a strong, unified national voice to advocate on behalf of the entire heavy vehicle industry. HVIA is "truly national'' and has opened two regional offices in Melbourne and Perth to compliment the already established Brisbane office and employs 10 staff dedicated entirely to serving the heavy vehicle industry. Our key program areas include Advocacy, Member Services, Workforce Development and National Events.
