Meridian is an entertainment company founded on April 1st, 2013 by industrial veteran Jennifer Dong and is based in Beijing, China. It specialises in film and television finance, production and distribution. Deeply rooted in the vast and dynamic Chinese film market, Meridian is also known for its global perspective and achievements. Meridian has a first-look and strategic cooperation agreement with James Schamus through his Symbolic Exchange, and oversees the film business at Random House Studios through a partnership with Fremantle Media North America. Meridian develops, produces and finances film and television projects in various genres, and has in-house marketing and distribution teams. To date, Meridian has made investments in some of the top-grossing Chinese films and TV shows, such as Running Man (2015), Mojin: The Lost Legend (2015), and forthcoming English language films as Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire’s Prayer Before Dawn, Brandon Camp's Benji (2017) and Kitty Green’s Casting JonBenet.
